The J-24 by Meridian Guitars is an enhanced version of the traditional JB, it offers a more versatile, ergonomic, stylish, and eye-catching design than your similar JB of yesteryear. 

As you can expect on every Meridian bass, only the finest woods are used, aiming to offer you a unique, sweet and well-balanced bass tone that you are dreaming of. Every bass features scrupulous craftsmanship with high-end sophistication; every step is precisely crafted by master luthier Davide Cardone. 

Its chambered body is made from Bahia Walnut(cut in 1970), providing a warm, resonant sound with a weightless feel. The top wood is a beautiful old Italian walnut(cut in 1960), adding a unique visual appeal and rich tonal qualities.

The neck is crafted from hard rock maple(cut in 1986), offering superb stability and a bright attack. The fingerboard is made of Bolivian rosewood, adorned with elegant wood block inlays and aluminium side dots for enhanced visibility. The matching headstock complements the overall aesthetic.

Equipped with high-quality components, this axe features Delano Times Square pickups for a powerful, clear tone, paired with Hipshot Ultralite tuners and an Hipshot A Style 19mm bridge for excellent tuning stability and sustain. The black hardware adds a sleek contrast to the natural wood finishes.

The onboard electronics include a John East preamp with volume, balance, treble, mid, bass controls, and an active/passive switch. It also features a passive tone, coil selection switch (Series/Single/Parallel), and a comprehensive array of controls to shape your sound precisely.

Additional details include a transparent pickguard, a fret zero, and a carbon fiber nut. This bass is finished with a satin coating for smooth playability and a refined look.
